Brut Vintage 1998: 1998 was perfect for creating a rosé
with an extraordinary cellaring potential. It shows a delicate salmon
pink robe. A deliciously fruity nose and an opulent yet delicate mouth.
This is a pink champagne that will be appreciated by connoisseurs.
Harvest: 1998
Grapes: 85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir
Terroirs: Vineyards: "l'Enclume", "la Savoyarde", "les Marguiniers" (limestone and sand)
Vinification: First fermentation in thermostatically controlled stainless steel vats and oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation. Pink Champagne made by blending white and red wines.

On the eye, a light gleaming salmon pink, fine mouse with a delicate ribbon.
Nose fine and subtle, with a scent of red fruit, quince and vanilla.
Mouth: Lovely collaboration between frank, mouth-filling fruit and delicacy on the palate (orange citrus, cherry and fresh apricots).
Food & wine: A refined and fruit forward champagne that will accompany desserts (red fruit fondant) full flavoured carpaccios, warm oysters and delicious fresh fruits (apricot, strawberries etc).
